when i feel...

far above the ground...

The weather is dark, gloomy and wet still. Traces of mud from the past flood a few days ago. Tea didn't want to take her bike oudside the mud. She seemed a little less inactive today... maybe she just woke up from her nap. Anyway she still managed to rode her bike while I was slowly walking beside her. We saw a flock of small birds or Maya spending a great time under a big mango tree. Cows are lying lazily undeneath while the baby cows running around. I heard Tea laugh with the sight of it. Our place is a small subdivision. It's a good thing there still ricefield left so we still can enjoy fresh air, cold mornings, dews and fog especially Christmas is coming. On a day like this it's fun taking a walk around... that's why i hate it when it rains. Tea can't ride her bike, we can't stroll, we can't make "tambay" to lola's mini-store. But on a day like this i love waking up with the smell of nanay's scrambled eggs, her champorado, her coffee--nothing beats that for me. It's nice spending morning chills around the table with your loved ones--eating, talking, hearing Tea's kindergarten-point-of-view. On a day like this--nothing compares.
