Christmas Time

This Christmas Time as we celebrate the day with our family, close friends, and all who are dear to us,

As we all share our overflowing table of blessing with one another,

When each one us feels cozy and warm as we gather around our Christmas tree opening our presents,

Let us all have time to think about the too many who are lonely and weary, feeling hungry and cold,

The too many homeless and helpless…

Let us enjoy Christmas time,

But let us all take a moment to pray for those who cannot.

Let us all try to make this world a better place still,

Let us fill each other’s heart with joy and share and spread the good cheer,

Make this world a better place by being an example and by good deeds,

And not to forget the true reason for celebrating the season…

The Man who was born upon the hay,

The Man who gave His life upon the cross,

The Man Who took away our sins,

He will always be the reason for the season…

no matter what they say.
